Dag fyra - Always Look on the Bright Side of Life

As Rachel said, today was our first Rotary presentation - I am so proud of us! Good job, guys!
Tonight we had a great dinner and then saw a really fun musical. The cast was all local, very young, and really talented! My favorite part was when they sang Monty Python's "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life." We (the whole auditorium) were singing loudly and whistling - it was so fun, and I really felt connected to my group members and the community we have been staying in. Alingsås is a great city. I know we all feel incredibly lucky to be here. :) And as for the song, I think this trip is teaching me that - to look on the bright side of everything. It's something I try at but don't always succeed. Seeing the positive impact of all of the wonderful things that Rotary members do is really inspiring and makes me want to put my energy into helping others and realizing positive solutions. I can't believe this experience is teaching me so much already!
I'd like to say thank you for Anna-Karin for arranging vocation-specific trips for us all today at the last minute. Steph was able to visit a shoe company, Jennifer spoke with a doctor, Kara attended a trial, and Rachel and I spoke to a City Planner/Architect. It was really great, so tack så mycket! :)

More tomorrow hopefully! - Alison
