March 19 - Partille (Dentistry, Art & Culture)

Not much time to write as we are preparing to move again but I really wanted to share a few pictures to capture our time in Partille.

Our first stop today was a Dental office where one of our host families (Mina - Alison & Rachel are staying with her) works. We were taken to see the work that they do in the schools to try to improve how children take care of their smile.

After that, it was time to leave a little money in Goteborg - - Jennifer and I found a small yarn shop and were able to purchase some treasures to bring home for ourselves, family & friends.

The next stop was the Museum of Art in Goteborg. We couldn't take any pictures inside but we
enjoyed the experience immensely
and the view from the top of the building into the city was pretty awesome as well.

We enjoyed an evening at Anders house. He is our coordinator for the GSE program during our stay
in Partille. We had a terrific evening
-- enjoyed each others company, drank a little ackavit and sang some Swedish songs along with a few American tunes like "Cecilia"
Here I am with my host for this week AnnaCarin - - it has been a very memorable stay in Partille!
Now, on to the next adventure - - Steph

I attended the Rotary Distric Conference today at Chalmers. I just would like to say thank you for a very interesting presentation about your group and what you are doing in US.
I hope you´ll enjoy your stay in Sweden!
