This weekend we had a wonderful stay in Trollhättan, where we were all able to get some much-needed rest after taking in so much excitement! We also had some fun too. While watching the Swedish version of American Idol in the hotel lobby, we met Michigan Americans, Rich and Anthony, and learned about their Swedish experience so far. Kara and I took part in a “typical Swedish dance night” at the hotel which was a lot of fun. Most of us napped and talked to loved ones, and some of us were also able to get out in the fresh air today and walk around the canals, trails, and part of the city. I especially loved the area near the ruins. We even saw a few famous Trollywood sidewalk stars!
Tomorrow morning we say goodbye to Trollhättan. We’re all looking forward to our new hosts and families in Partille tomorrow, and are rested and ready for the rest of our trip! Here are a few photos from Trollhättan. Hopefully we'll see you in Partille! - Alison
