Pictures From Day 1 - Arrival Day

On our arrival day, we traveled about 45 minutes to a bed and breakfast called Borshult Gard. After a fine meal of potatoes, meatballs, lingonberries, and broccoli, we were interviewed by a journalist from the local Boras community paper about what we hoped to learn in Sweden. I was feeling extremely jet lagged during the interview and could think of nothing more than curling up on the couch where I sat and fall asleep. One thing I remembered to say was that I wanted to learn how businesses can increase sales by using sustainability methods. The very next day our story and our group picture were in the weekly paper! We felt like celebrities.
